Now, you need to understand that I&#8217;ve never rebuilt a carb before in my life, so I don&#8217;t have the slightest idea what I&#8217;m doing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/piwigo.putrescence.org\/_data\/i\/upload\/2024\/03\/29\/20240329143548-7903e5ef-xl.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The diaphragm in the accelerator pump was definitely in need of replacement<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/piwigo.putrescence.org\/i.php?\/upload\/2024\/03\/29\/20240329143527-876f768a-la.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This other diaphragm also was quite leaky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/piwigo.putrescence.org\/_data\/i\/upload\/2024\/03\/29\/20240329143550-78816631-me.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>And the third diaphragm on the carb was also torn in a couple places.  This is the little vacuum operated device that is supposed to prevent flooding when the choke is on all the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/piwigo.putrescence.org\/i.php?\/upload\/2024\/03\/29\/20240329143539-1cc917e0-la.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>After cleaning things up a bit and putting in the new bits, I had a hopefully rebuilt carb to put back on when I get home!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/piwigo.putrescence.org\/_data\/i\/upload\/2024\/03\/29\/20240329143527-4936e833-me.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In the meantime, I also opened up the vacuum pots for the boost\/vacuum advance and repaired them.
